Mjejane and the Kruger National Park Region
Price range: R99.00 through R350.00Mjejane has been described by one of its visitors as follows: The first time I visited Mjejane, I was captivated by the beauty of nature and the tranquillity of the surroundings. After turning off the N4, we made our way to the Mjejane River Lodge. Along the route, we passed a naboom tree the largest and most beautiful I have ever seen. Further on, we came across a natural waterhole right beside the road, where a large herd of buffalo, accompanied by playful warthogs, were drinking and enjoying the mud.
At the Lodge, we were enchanted by the large fig and marula trees in the area. A particular highlight was watching a woodland kingfisher repeatedly returning to its nest to feed its young. Another unforgettable moment was observing the warthog family residing on the premises wandering through the Lodge s lounge on their way to the pool. These are some of my most cherished experiences. Sitting with my feet in the pool, a beer in hand, and watching animals like hippo, buffalo, giraffe, and elephant from such close proximity was truly magnificent.
