Founded by Heleen Malherbe in July 2017, Malherbe Publishers emerged from a personal mission to support poets and writers in bringing their visions to reality. From the start, we embraced the philosophy of steady, deliberate growth. Inspired by the words of Josiah G. Holland, “There is no shortcut to anything of value. One thing at a time, one day at a time. What develops slowly has a greater chance of enduring,” we built a foundation of trust and excellence.

Today, Malherbe Publishers is proud to support over 200 writers and publish nearly 800 books. Our commitment extends beyond publishing; we provide a comprehensive support network for writers and poets in both Afrikaans and English, ensuring access to essential resources at reasonable costs. With the establishment of Malherbe Printers, we also offer on-demand printing, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accessibility.
