Celeste Majcher

Celeste Majcher is ’n Afrikaner wat in Mpumalanga grootgeword het as die middelste van drie kinders. Sy het haar passie vir skryf ontdek tydens ’n jaar as au pair in Rotterdam, waar sy weekliks e-posse aan haar familie gestuur het. Dit het vir haar ’n belangrike uitlaatklep geword.

In Nederland het sy haar Skotse man ontmoet en getrou. Hulle het hul eerste seun daar gebore. Skryf het haar gehelp om by die nuwe lewe en postnatale depressie aan te pas.

Later het hulle na Edinburgh verhuis, waar sy as sorgwerker gewerk het en haar eerste boek se idee gekry het. Haar dogtertjie is daar gebore en sy het gekies om tuisbly mamma te wees.

Toe hulle vir ’n derde baba probeer, het hulle onverwags drieling gekry. Nou is sy ’n predikantsvrou, ma van vyf en blogger. Haar lewe is vol, maar sy geniet elke oomblik. Skryf bly haar hart se roeping.
