As a care worker I was tasked with looking after many vulnerable people. Some young, some old, most completely forgotten. Each and every one of them had a story to tell and most of their stories were incredibly sad, but beautiful. This book is a collection of thirteen fictional stories inspired by the lives of, and conversations with these people.
Some stories are lived to be told. Some stories are too important to be lost. The characters in these stories are already forgotten. It would be a tragedy to forget their stories too.
