Rhona Kotze is ’n skrywer van boeke gebaseer op werklike gebeure, met temas wat diep in traumatiese ervarings gewortel is, maar altyd ’n boodskap van hoop dra. Sy het in Vereeniging grootgeword en later onderwys studeer en as onderwyseres begin werk. Die pyn van persoonlike trauma en jarelange depressie het haar lewe geteken, maar uiteindelik het sy ’n pad van heling begin deur te skryf. Wat as terapie begin het, het gegroei tot die publikasie van haar eerste boek. Rhona put inspirasie uit haar eie lewe en verander pynlike ervarings in verhale wat lesers aanmoedig om aan te hou glo en nooit moed op te gee nie. Sy is ’n moeder van twee dogters en ’n trotse ouma van vier kleinkinders. Haar skryfwerk weerspieël haar vasberadenheid, geloof en oortuiging dat selfs die donkerste tye tot lig kan lei.
